Architectural Draftsman / 3D Modeling Visualizer / Graphics Specialist - Khobar, Saudi Arabia - AKMO
AKMO is currently recruiting for a Architectural Draftsman 3D Visualizer / Graphics Specialist with extensive experience in design drawings and presentations production in their Khobar, Saudi Arabia offices. The qualified candidate must have 3 minimum to 10 yeas of experience and hold a relevant certification or college degree and have knowledge of buildings systems.
Top candidates will be proficient with 2D CAD and 3D modeling in SketchUp and 3D Max VRay and accompanying post production graphic skills in Adobe Suite. Candidates will hold a relevant certificate or college-level degree and 24 years’ experience. Due to the self-driven nature of the role it is imperative that candidates possess strong organizational and communication skills in addition to precision architectural drawing production ability; candidate will be working independently and reporting to a Design Director.

Requirements, Duties & Responsibilities
Two Years in a Technical Degree or Drafting Certification preferred
At least 3 years of prior CAD drafting experience of architectural design specialized in buildings, infrastructure and landscape
Review plans and order and specifications in preparing the drawings
Create accurate, detailed shop drawings and 3D modeling from architectural drawings in a timely manner utilizing AutoCAD, Sketchup & 3D Max
Produce production reports, material lists and labels and distribute as necessary
Review drawings with team to clarify details and address issues/questions
Create and send submittals to the reviewing architect or customer
Maintain data of every project and is well organized
Provides backup support for Project Managers and when required
Must have a thorough understanding of drafting principles and strong analytic and mathematical capabilities
Software proficiency at the intermediate to advanced level for AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, VRay,
Extremely detail orientated
Works well in a fast-paced work environment with a strong commitment to meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must respond to emails and phone calls promptly
