Project Engineer Mechanical
Palace Consulting Engineers is an Engineering Design & Construction Management Company catering its services to customers like Saudi Electricity Company. Currently we are hiring a team of Consultants for our project of HVDC Converter Stations Construction Management.
Duties & Responsibilities of Project Engineer
-Reporting to Project Manager
-Maintaining quality of erection in coordination with Quality Engineer
-Planning and achieving targets of each construction activities
-Monitor and evaluate the progress of work and update the construction schedule
-To liaise with other personnel to ensure smooth implementation of all jobs.
-To organize the work force in execution of all job.
-To monitor safety practice at site.
-Submitting progress update to the Project Manager for inclusion in weekly reports.
-Maintaining quality of work and full filling client requirements
-Coordinating with Project Manager, Quality Engineer and client’s rep
-Overall responsible to manage, supervise, and control of general construction related works.
-Co-ordinate with the Contractor and its representative on site for the execution of the work.
-Get initiated the corrective actions by Contractors for any raised non-conformances, and through the Contractor get implemented the preventive action plan to prevent the re-occurrence of non-conformances, all in coordination with the QA/QC Engineer.
-Ensure safety measures are implemented at all times.
-Monitor Contractor /sub-contractors works, coordinate with Contractor Representative about the Procurement and feedback the Project Manager.
-Review and certify “As Built” Drawings prepared by contractor’s team and to ensure the accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications Required for Project Engineer Mechanical
-Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering
-15 Years of Total Experience out of Min of 5 Years experience as Project Engineer or Senior Engineer on EHV SS or HVDC Construction Projects.
Other Requirements of Project Engineer Civil
-PMP Certification, People Management, Leadership, Company Representation, Microsoft Office, MS Projects or Primavera & Tech Savvy.
-Shall be aware of International Engineering Standards and should have worked on the Supervision, Consulting and Project Monitoring of similar capacity of Substation Constructions
